Christmas recipes by kittyjadeblog
Hi it’s yoga girl do you ever wonder why?
It’s nearly Christmas and so Erin from kittyjadeblog has wrote a Christmas themed post for the blog. Go check her site out her writing is just the best and she is an amazing Person https://kittyjadeblog.com/
Gingerbread
Gingerbread men are one of the easiest biscuits to make. I usually invite my friends around and it can be a really good laugh! If you want to really challenge yourself you could make a gingerbread house. The difficult part in making a house is getting the stencils the perfect shape so that they all fit together nicely. I might have a go at making one this year and if I do I’ll be sure to let you know! Here’s a link to both recipes if you want to try it out for yourself:
Gingerbread house
Gingerbread men
Mince Pies
It’s a classic! I make a good few batches throughout December. Making them yourself is really easy and it ensures that you are not putting unessecary fats and sugars in too. I will be writing up my recipe and post it on my blog sometime in December but for now you can use this recipe from BBC Goodfood:
Chocolate Orange Cookies
They sound complicated however they are quite easy! A common stocking filler for my family is a chocolate orange and chocolate orange cookies are a bit hard to come by - so why not make them yourself? You’ll be able to find the candied orange peel in a specialist food shop but the rest are pretty basic ingredients.
Cinnamon Rolls
This recipe isn’t all homemade but it’s a quicker option compared to the previous suggestions. It takes a grand total of 30 minutes! I really love cinnamon rolls, especially as a breakfast, and their spices make it taste extra festive.
Last-Minute Christmas Cake
Have loads of guests and now Christmas cake to serve? This is a perfect recipe for you. I did post a recipe mid-November of my preferred recipe though you may have left it last minute - and this means that there is less time for it to mature. So instead use this recipe which adds extra moisture and results in a cake that tastes as if it has been made in November!
Those are my top five easy Christmas baking ideas. If you do make any of these, send me your photos on Instagram! I would love to see how they turned out. Thank you so much to Yoga Girl for allowing me to publish this post on your blog! I really appreciate the time and effort you spent in creating top 10 Xmas songs for my blog too. If you’d like to check out that post I have linked it here.
